ESPN Douche Sal Pal Says Silly Things

By: Steve Johnson

SURPRISE! ESPN talking head Sal Paolantonio said something completely idiotic again. Ya know, it seems to happen on a weekly basis, when “Sal Pal” joins Mike Missanelli on Philadelphia’s 97.5 the Fanatic , he ends up pulling something completely out of his ass. And I get it, he’s a “Philly Guy” and I’m not supposed to say this. Because apparently Ben Franklin made it a law that you can’t hate on guys that may have stopped in Philly at some point in their lives. But let’s be honest, he’s just terrible. And not like terrible terrible, like Charles Barkley tuurrrrible. In fact, all of ESPN’s Philly guys are idiots. That’s right I said it, Ron Jaworski is a moron, and Herm Edwards is annoying. You’d think I’d be used to it already, since Philly sports talk radio has one of these guys at all hours of the day. But I’m not, and lately Sal Pal has been completely pulling spaghetti out of his ass. Last week when being asked about if the Eagles would interview Panthers Defensive Coordinator (and Philly guy, don’t worry I won’t hate on this one as I would fear for my life, because Philly guy + defense + ghost of Jim Johnson is just asking for a South Philly beat down) Sean McDermott, Sal Pal suggested that whenever he brought up the Eagles people close to McDermott would immediately change the subject. It wasn’t what he said; it was how he said it. It was as if he was making it up as he went, which he was, and he did. This afternoon, Sal Pal decided to pull a good ole football opinion out, you know because he’s analyst now rather than a reporter. When asked about Jim Schwartz being hired as the Eagles new Defensive Coordinator, Sal Pal spewed out that Fletcher Cox would be “exposed” switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Cox, just came off his best season of his career recording 71 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and forcing 3 fumbles. It doesn’t take a complete football genius and God like Heath Evans to tell you that Cox will absolutely dominate moving from a 5-technique end to his natural position inside as a 3-technique. That's Sal Pal for ya, like that crazy uncle you have that just spews nonsense. Let's stick to reporting bud. This post has been brought to you by Ron Jaworski’s office at NFL films…where he has an office at NFL Films.
